We had a fantastic show at Calmare Kattklubb’s show at 4th of July in Kalmar! We had Izak and Miira with us, Miira in class 11 and Izak in class 12. At the nomination Miira manage to beat a gorgeous Russian blue that recently was Junior Winner and later in final she was Best In Show with 3 out of 4 judes votes!!! Amazing!! It went well for Izak too that beat some beautiful Brittish shorthair in the nomination. The final was very tough. You could tell judges had a hard time choosing because all kittens had a very high quality. The result was 1-1-1-1, the judges voted at the cats they had nominated. Unfortunately there was no extra judge that could give an extra vote so they had to do it by lottery. The random choice fell on a nice Sphinx that won.

We had a fantastic show weekend in Malmö April 10-11. Morritz and Miira were with us and it was the first time for Miira to a show. She behaved very well and was calm. Morritz was as cool as always. The highlights of this weekend was that Miira was BIV among tough competition from five other chocolate spotted males. She was also nominated for BIS panel. Morritz got another BIV and NOM and have now more than 10 BIV over a period of two years and therefore being the first Swedish ocicat to conquer the titel  Distinguished Variety Merit. It was actually his 23 BIV since 2008 but you have to wait for the period of two years to pass to take the last BIV. So he can now add DVM as a title to his name so in full it will be EC S*Junglespots Coronado DSM DVM and he is the first ocicat to be both DSM and DVM.
